IMAGEVUE FROM MJAU-MJAU VERSION 1.14.
9 Jan 2003 v0.1
Rebuilt and recompiled by 3dg3.

While I really really wish I didn't have to put this together for others to use, the price of imagevue is ridiculous.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**WHAT THIS RELEASE INCLUDES**
All SWFs, necessary images, rebuilt config and php files.
**WHAT THIS RELEASE DOES NOT INCLUDE**
Source FLAs for imagevue. Sorry, couldn't get them to recompile. Maybe next time.
Admin interface for creating description files. Sorry, you'll have to create them manually.
Droplets for resizing images.
Other files which were unnecessary
**IMPORTANT NOTES**
While I could not find any 'phone home' code in the FLA source I cannot guarantee that there isn't any. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
All PHP and Config files were created from scratch. Rest assured there is no phone home code in there.
There is a link on the upper right-hand corner of imagevue which goes to the mjau-mjau site. Nothing I could do about that. Sorry.
**REQUIREMENTS**
Required:
PHP 4.x
Optional:
GD 2.x extension with jpg support (not required, but highly recommended). If you do not have GD or have the older version of GD (1.8.x, you will have to create all thumbnails manually).
**INSTALLATION**
1) Copy all files to your webserver.
2) Set permissions to 777 on the 'content' folder so GD can create thumbs for you.
To ensure that you can run imagevue, run the following tests:
1) http://www.yourdomain.com/test/test.php
2) http://www.yourdomain.com/test/gdprobe.php
3) Upload your images
All images go under the content folder like so:
content/mars/1997/images.JPG
'mars' is a 'groupfolder' or main folder. All 'mars' images should go in subfolders under 'mars'.
**CONFIG FILES**
Instructions on setting up your config files can be found here.
**DESCRIPTIONS**
Descriptions files are located in the same directory with images and should be named 'descr.txt'. To set a description for the directory itself the format is:
__dir    This+is+a+description.
(or __dir *tab* This+is+a+description.)
*Directory descriptions are denoted by the __dir.
For images, the format is:
IMG0001.JPG    This+is+a+description+for+the+image.
(or IMG0001.JPG *tab* This+is+a+description+for+the+image.)
*The tab is required for both.
**See one of the descr.txt files in the included image directories if this doesn't make sense.
